NBA vs. NCAA BASKETBALL

If you are a big sports fan then you will understand how difficult it is to choose from NBA or NCAA BASKETBALL. In my argument I am going to pick a side and talk about which one is more exciting than the other one. The NBA is made up of all professional; it’s the best of the best around the world. NCAA basketball is all student athletes that are trying to make it to the pros. Right now I would have to say that the NBA is more exciting to watch just because it’s the best of the best. This year mostly all the teams are equal. So every game is going to be exciting to watch. Where there are teams in college that just smash the other teams. It’s like there is no point to watch it because you already know who is going to win. Some of the players from the NBA came straight out of high school. If they were that good in high school to go straight into the pros, just imagine how good they would have been in college. March madness is where the playoff starts for college. I got to say that is very exciting to watch, because there are so many underdogs that nobody gave them any credit to move on to the next round. But the NBA PLAYOFFS is also exciting due to how even the teams are this year. It does not matter if you’re the one seed or the eight seed. The one seed could lose in the first round just like the Dallas Mavericks did last year to the Golden State Warriors.

Synthesis Paper (2 texts)

The two texts that I decide doing my synthesis paper on is the story “Learning the Language” and the movie “Glory Road”. They both have similarities and differences even though they are both different type of texts. The similarities that “Learning the Language” and “Glory Road” have is that they both succeed in what they are doing. Glory Road succeeds by becoming the first Division I NCAA basketball team to start five black players. It was a big thing back then because it was during the time of racism and everybody was known as white players starting and playing the game of basketball. Learning the Language was a story of a family that only knew how to speak Spanish. They live in the United States so they had a hard time to speak English. The little boy was ashamed on how their parents try to speak English. The similarities of both texts are that they both had to work hard to get where they want to be at. The family had to work hard just to try to speak dissent English to communicate in public. The differences are that the both texts succeed differently. The other differences is how the boy from “Learning the Language” is ashamed of his parents on how they spoke English and the coach from “Glory Road” was not ashamed to start five black guys.

What is Joy?

When I think of joy I think of basketball. Joy is something that brings happiness to a person. Joy is a greater feeling then happiness but brings laughter and smile to a person. And playing or coaching basketball is something that brings a smile to my face and I enjoy doing it.

Where in this picture do you see a female? When do you ever see a girl play football? I yet have once seen a girl play football. Football is a type of sport that is rough and body to body contact. Football is known as a manly sport. Not a sport that girls would be playing. Girls are more into lease contact and complain about getting hurt or breaking a fingered nail. Guys are known to be manly and do manly things. And football is a manly sport that’s why you do not see any girls play it. It’s like guys play football and girls are cheerleaders. Guys are known to protect the girls from danger. Guys also protect their family no matter what the situation is. Girls are more known as weak people who need guys to protect them. Girls do not like to get hurt of feel any type of pain. Football is a sport full with pain. From broken body parts to getting season ending surgery. In sports you hardly hear a girl going into season ending surgery and guys are more likely to go. Season ending surgery is any type of surgery that will make you miss the end of the season of the sport. Football is known for grapping body parts to bring down the person with the football. No matter is it’s head to head contact of what. Girls are lease likely to do any type of sports that is considering a contact sport.

The purpose of this image is to show all athletics that basketball is not just played inside arenas. It shows that no matter where you are at, which state or city that you are in you could pick up a basketball and play outside on the courts. The audience for this image is all basketball players. it does not matter how old you are just as long you’re a basketball player.The author of this image is Nike Basketball. Nike is not just for basketball. Nike also sponsored other sports and players. A couple of example is football and baseball and also sponsored players like Shawn Marion and Tiger woods. There are more professional players but those are just some examples.
In this image it could have some pathos because it could show some emotion. the emotion it show is anger. Anger that I’m going to give attitude when I’m playing this game.
It shows ethos also because in the image it say "My game is made outside". So he is talking about himself.
It could have some logos because it could show some logical facts by saying my game is as good enough to played not just inside an arena but also outside on the courts.

Write Process

when I'm getting ready to write an essay i have one typical way of writing my paper. first of all i really do not enjoy writing. I'm not very good at it but i can say i try my hardest. it's like i get all these good ideas in my head but when I'm ready to write them down i forget what I'm about to say. writing a paper is my weakness of my ability.
My writing process is first i need to know what I'm going to write about. i get all the information about it. i brain storm it and go through it. i pick out the main i ideas that would be interesting to other people to read about. i break it down to three main point plus a introduction and a conclusion. the three main points I'm about to talk about i try to find information about them. i try to write down my ideas because if i try to memorize them I'll forget what I'm going to write about. I'll also try to make an outline so it could be easier for me to write. an outline helps me by breaking it down into pieces and also organizing it. after i complete an outline i type the really essay. so by then my essay so come out to be good and understand what is going on in my essay.
some of my essay could be long or also short. if i have a lot of good ideas then it will be a long essay. if i really do not understand what the essay should be about then it will probable be short and sloppy. after writing as essay i try to get some one else to revise it to make sure it's understandible and it flows. i hate writing essay becuase im not very good at it. it frausterates me and i really never been that good at it. if it was a math problem then i can help you out on it because that is what i enjoy doing.
Blogging with affect me in many ways. im use to microsoft becuase it will caps everything that needs to caps and it will tell me if i miss spell something. it makes it more easier on me then blogger. writing on blogger will be more difficult on me because i would need to double check everything in make sure i spell words right. blogger is way different then microsoft word becuase it tell you if something is miss spell or it will caps anything that needs to be caps. But i know ill get use to blogger just the same way im use to microsoft word.
